There seem to be a lot of these popping up... Coincidence?
I want to say right now that I absolutely love animals. (Except cows. More on that in the FAQ.) I have two pets--a cat
and a ferret--and I would never dream of torturing them, abusing them, or eating them. I am well aware of what happens to
animals in testing labs, but I'm also well aware of all the people dying and living with diseases which are saved by animal
testing. If a hundred adorable lab rats die so that one child with cancer can live, then I'm good with that.
In a nutshell, my view on the whole "animal rights" thing is that humans matter more than animals. Animals do not deserve
to be mistreated, but humans need the resources provided by animals, like food, clothing, and medicine.
